After this much fun, they’ll be treated to a daily meal of Pedigree dry dog food (though, if your furry friend has special dietary requirements, you’re welcome to supply your own food).

If you’re planning a night out, book your best friend into our dog hotel. Here, they will be treated to a cozy sleeping area with fleece-style bedding and many blankets. At night, the dogs remain inside where our experienced staff will look after them.

What are the pet boarding check in/out times?

PET BOARDING CHECK-IN / CHECK OUT HOURS:

Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm.

Closed Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays (Respectfully, NO EXCEPTIONS)

What happens after I book an appointment?

Once you have made a booking, we’ll email your pet’s full itinerary and any additional details.

Are there any rules in your facility upon arrival?

When you arrive, make sure you keep your dog on a leash at all times (even if your dog does not usually wear a leash). This is essential for the well-being of all our guests, big & small.

What information do you require from me upon arrival with my dog(s)?

Upon arrival we need to see your pet’s vaccine information, clarify your personal details and your pet’s current records. We will also verify your personal information including emergency contact and any additional instructions to help ensure your pet’s comfort. We provide food, water and comfy blankets. If you wish you may bring your pet’s special blanket or toys to help ensure your pet’s comfort.

We require current vaccination records:

At ALL STAR PET RESORT we want to protect your pet’s health. We require that all pet’s boarding with us have the following vaccinations preferably two weeks prior to boarding. A copy of your pet’s vaccination records from a veterinarian is required upon check in.

Dogs:

Current Rabies (within 12 months or 36 months)

Bordatella within the last 6 months

Current Distemper/Parvo (DHLPP) given according to your Vet’s protocol

H3N2 flu shot

Flea and Tick prevention is essential for all pets staying at Pet Resorts and must be reapplied every 30 days or depending on prescribed use.

Details of special medication – plus enough medication to last the duration of your pet’s stay.

Will my dog catch any parasites from other dogs in your facility?

Our Torrance dog boarding facility is flea-free. Any pet arriving will be inspected for parasites upon “check-in.” If we find fleas or ticks, a bath will be required at your expense. For on-going flea and tick protection, we suggest Frontline and Advantage.

What if my dog needs medications?

We administer medications at no extra charge. However, we do ask that you provide “treats” to dispense the medication. We suggest bringing any treat you use at home. The medication has to be in the original labeled container.

We do not offer injections.

What if my dog has a special diet?

All Star Pet Resort serves Pedigree dry food. There are many reasons to keep feeding your dog the same diet as you do at home. Likewise your vet or pet nutritionist may have advised you to keep feeding certain foods. 

If you would like to keep your dog on the same diet, you are welcome to bring your own food. Please have it labeled with your pet’s name and feeding instructions.

Can I bring my dog’s favorite toys and blankets to the facility?

We provide food, water and comfy blankets. If you wish you may bring your pet’s favorite blankets or toys to make their stay that much more enjoyable.

Will my dog be coming in contact with other dogs at the facility?

For your pet’s safety we do not allow the dogs to be in close contact. Your dog or cat will have a private indoor/outdoor run.

However, dogs from the same household are of course allowed to be boarded together in the same run.

What if my dog gets sick?

There is no Veterinarian on premise. Should your pet not feel well, we will attempt to contact you, your emergency contact and your veterinarian for instructions.

However, if no communication is possible, we will contact our regular daytime veterinarian or our 24-hour emergency veterinarian, both of whom we are affiliated.

Naturally we would notify you and your veterinarian of your pet’s situation at the earliest opportunity.

Is your facility well-guarded and secure?

Yes, we have caretakers on the property 24/7.

When do I have to make payment?

All fees are payable on departure at the resort so please be ready to make payment when you check out.

Will my four legged friend be taken care of?

Leaving your four legged best friend isn’t always easy so we try to make it easier for you both so we suggest saying your goodbyes at home so you can allow your pet to settle in as quickly as possible.

Our friendly pet care attendants will look after your pet as if he/she was their own, and help them quickly get used to their new quarters.

What if my dog has special characteristics or behaviors, etc?

Please let our staff know of any special or unusual characteristics your pet may have.
